PALM is an innovative asthma nebuliser developed in collaboration between Design Health Collab and Monash Engineering faculty. To market this product was the design challenge.

In response, promotional graphics for website and social media to capture the interest of potential users and convey key information. Additionally proposed the personalisation of user experience to increase engagement and satisfaction by providing customisation opportunities.

As the client is affiliated with Monash University, the branding was to be consistent with Monash branding identity and system. It was a challenge as the university and medical product do not necessarily have the same audiences or fields of work. Thus, my solution was to have a clean, minimal but futuristic look with a focal point of the product itself, elevating the corporate aesthetic.

Additionally, considering the user experience of the PALM inhaler beyond the functionality, I proposed for the lab in future developments to have customisation opportunities of the outer shell of the device with colour and art. This would establish long-term product engagement and enhance brand loyalty. As the main target audience are kids and teenagers, my ideas for the style were playful or cool.
